The Get2smile teethwhitening lamp is specially designed to complement the working of the whitening gel. It provides the optimum energy at specific wavelengths that accelerates the decomposition of the stain molecules by whitening gel. It is a small light, completely portable and very easy to use.

What causes Discolouration?

The most common causes are ageing. consumption of staining substances like tea and coffee , cola , Tobacco and red wine , trauma and nerve degeneration.

Do the treatments have any effects on crown, veneer or white fillings?

No, the treatments do not change the intrinsic colour of these man-made materials. However, surface stains will be removed.

How do the treatments work?

Both treatments use an oxygen releasing whitening gel, which is placed against the surface of your teeth. As oxygen enters the enamel and dentine, it whitens the coloured substances. Only the teeth colour is made lighter; the structure of the teeth is unchanged.

 How long do the results last?

Your teeth will always be lighter than they were. However, some people want to touch-up their smile by re-whiteing once or twice yearly with a top up treatment. This is especially valuable if you continue to use staining products such as coffee or tobacco. The top up gel is available on the order page for re-use.

Are there any side effects?
